All about Anita.

I was born in the small village of Een in Drente. On a farm. I grew up in the fresh air and was always around animals – a real ‘nature girl’. My parents were both teachers of gymnastics. When my mother passed away, my father started Sport Centre "Leek", and that is where I began giving lessons: Aerobics, Body-Wave, Callanetics, Steps and Street-Dance. At the same time, my sister was busy teaching gymnastics and movement for seniors. A sporty family!

When I first moved to Bussum, I started giving Pilates lessons at the Fitness Club Gooimeer. But ever since I was a child I always knew that ‘when I grew up’ what I really wanted was my own studio where I could help people exercise in a healthy way and give therapeutic massage, ideally providing one-to-one attention. About 10 years ago, my dream became reality! Learning from my own experiences, from the progress of my clients and gaining new insights from many different courses and workshops, I have built up an extensive knowledge of various techniques of yoga, Pilates, massage and much more besides. I am now putting all the knowledge and experience I have accumulated over the years to the best possible use, working with both adults and children. I offer group lessons and personal training, not only for sportsmen and women, ballet dancers and athletes, but also for people of all ages who require physical rehabilitation - people recovering from injuries and operations and people with physical disabilities.

Massages: Sport massage, relaxation massage, Cranio-Sacraal, Milton Trager and Ilan Lev methods (massage and movement)
